​Successful applicants will begin their residency on July 15th at Philadelphia Street, Cabot Circus in Bristol's city centre. Artists will utilise the top half of Philadelphia Street for 6 weeks, using the space as a studio and managing their own time there accordingly. The room boasts a large light box, full facilities and storage cupboard, alcoves for artists to work individually and large open windows. For the final 2 weeks, beginning on August 26th, the space downstairs will open up allowing artists to use the whole of Philadelphia Street to exhibit their work. Alongside the residency there will be Open Studio days where the general public will be able to chat to the artists in residence and get a sneak peek before the exhibition in August. Beckie will be assisting the artists in a series of family based activities during the residency as well as artists talks or masterclasses. Artists will also be able to gain experience in hanging and presenting their work for exhibition.
